You may remember that in May of last year I moved into a studio space and posted photos here. Then in November of last year I was asked to move into a different space and I couldn't help but say "Yes!"
The new space has a great floor space for my working studio. There is a nice-sized closet which holds all of my stash and supplies. And there is plumbing and space to create a wet studio as well.
Additionally, it has GREAT retail space. This is classroom space. The interior is warm and welcoming and I didn't have to do a thing but move in. How great is that?
Can't you see class supplies in this space?
And how about fabric in here?
I have been very, very blessed to have the opportunity to move into this lovely space and am thankful to my landlords for needing me to move. My current plan is to begin holding classes immediately. The timing couldn't be better as our local quilt shop is closing and this will allow me to continue to do what I love: teach. Having said that, my first class schedule is posted and under the tab "Classes" above. I am excited about this new opportunity. Wish me luck.

It's a bit rough still. Here's what you see coming in the door.
This is my work station in the corner to the left of the door.
These are my shelves for my stash. What you see, however, is not my stash. This fabric is for planned projects or projects begun. I can't move my stash in until I get more shelves. Does anyone else have this problem? :)
And here is the real reason I needed such a large space, my longarm machine.
I'll keep you updated as I begin decorating and getting everything in good order. But I want to say thanks to my good friends one more time. I really love my sign. What would this world be without our friends? I know I wouldn't want to know.
I have sooo much new information I want to share, including the continuing work on my Quilted Symphony 2 project. However, I am sooo excited about my new studio that I will share that today (and my project tomorrow :>).

Here is the bathroom. It is large enough that I plan to add a commercial sink so I can dye fabric.
Here is the inspiration for my studio. I have selected my paint and begin painting tomorrow. I will keep you up-to-date on my decorating progress.
